Lastly, is the original wheel primitive? Has the wheel ever truly changed since it was first invented? Of course not, it’s just made from different materials and formed into different volumes.
It’s absurd to call someone racist for pointing out the higher levels of melanin in some people over others and that the higher levels of melanin do help protect against wrinkles and skin damage from harmful sun rays. One is systemic and rooted in oppression, the other is observing certain traits that have been passed down or “modified” (eugenics) thruough generations and how those traits gave them advantages in their native environments. Racism and racial differences due to evolution are very different topics. So basically, how far off are modern day africans from their (our) ancestors compare to european and asian genetics? The argument is that certain traits have been and still are dominant now as they were then (then being “original” genetics. Not trying to totally get involved here, but let me break this down:ġ.) no one is arguing that the gene pool is the same as it was before. A lot of people would be surprised to find out that Negrito people are from the Philippines and share almost no ethnic DNA background with Sub-Saharan Africans As far as I can tell it's only peoples from Sub-Saharan Africa, Melanesia, Micronesia, and a few other groups in far Southeast Asia and western South Pacific, and some Australian Aboriginal people. Melanesians famously have kinky hair and many have blonde hair color as well that is completely genetically different than European blonde hair while other Melanesians have hair that looks no different than many people from Sub-Saharan Africa. I do believe that most people from this region of Africa the straighter hair comes from distant Eurasian DNA ancestry though.Īlso there are ethnic groups from outside of Sub-Saharan Africa who have the same/similar kinky coarse hair. Here's a picture of former Ethiopian President who had dark skin and coarse straight hair. It's not as common of course, but you can easily find pictures of dark skinned people there with straighter hair. It's pretty much only in Eastern Africa near (or in) the Sahara though (Sudan, Chad, Somalia, Ethiopia and places close to there) from what I can find. There are Sub-Saharan Africans with straighter hair more similar to Middle Eastern or some multi-racial people for example.
